That's why in 2004 he co-founded the Climate Outreach and Information Network, a charity organization that aims to encourage policymakers and the public to accept that climate change is real and caused by humans. As the author of Don't Even Think About It: Why Our Brains are Wired to Ignore Climate Change, Marshall champions the power of personal storytelling. Prior to his work with COIN, Marshall was the Director of Forests Campaign for Greenpeace and the International Campaigns Director for Rainforest Foundation International.
