Rolf Skar is the Campaigns Director for Greenpeace USA, overseeing the organization’s priority campaigns to stop climate change, save our oceans, protect democracy and end deforestation. He has more than 25 years experience championing efforts to tackle the extinction and climate crises, from tree-sits in old-growth forests of the Pacific Northwest to the halls of the United Nations. Rolf joined Greenpeace USA in 2007 and has contributed to award-winning international campaigns with a focus on building solutions with diverse stakeholders to create systemic change within key industries - from big tech to pulp and paper. He has appeared in leading news programs from MSNBC and NPR to FOX News as well as media such as the New York Times, Rolling Stone, the Washington Post and Los Angeles Times, among others.
