Pete Geddes

Managing Director, American Prairie Reserve

Pete Geddes is optimistic that the American vision for big, broad landscapes can be reignited. As Managing Director of the American Prairie Reserve, Geddes hopes to create and manage a prairie-based wildlife reserve that will protect a unique natural habitat, improving public access and providing lasting economic benefits. Geddes' is informed by his varied and rich prior experience as an instructor with the National Outdoor Leadership School and Director of Development and Operations at Property and Environment Research Center.

Geddes holds an MS in Resource Conservation from the University of Montana School of Forestry and a BS in Geology from St. Lawrence University.
