Nancy Arms Simon
Collections Manager, SFMOMA
Nancy Arms Simon completed her MA thesis at San Francisco State University in Museum Studies in 2010. Her creative work project, Occupation! Economic Justice as a Civil Right in San Francisco, 1963-64 was exhibited at the San Francisco Public Library’s Main Branch History Center and focused on demonstrations around labor equity. Nancy works as the Collections Manager at the SFMOMA with a small, but mighty A-Team of art collection registrars and coordinators to facilitate and support collections care, research and the museum’s permanent collections exhibitions. Nancy recently moved to San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood and considers herself a lifelong learner.
