As the founder and CEO of Alphabet Energy, Matt Scullin is dedicated to advancing the technology of thermoelectric materials, thermoelectric modules, and systems that interface with heat sources. To do so, the company employs groundbreaking nanotechnology research from the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratories. Through this experience Scullin has become an expert in the fields of waste-heat recovery and thermoelectric product development.
He was named Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2012 and a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum in 2013. He holds a Ph.D and M.S. in Materials Science from UC Berkeley, and a B.S.E. in Materials Science from University of Pennsylvania.
