As the National Organizing Director for Food & Water Watch, Mark Schlosberg champions healthy food and clean water for all. In his current role, he is responsible for developing strategies for the organization’s national campaigns and managing the Organizing Department. For over 15 years, Schlosberg has developed and carried out organizing and advocacy campaigns on a wide range of environmental, racial justice, and civil liberties issues. Before joining Food & Water Watch, Mark worked as a policy director at the ACLU of Northern California where he authored numerous reports and lead campaigns on issues ranging from civilian oversight of the police to government surveillance and privacy.
Schlosberg has a J.D. from New York University and a B.A. in economics from University of California at Berkeley.
