Lyndon Rive regards residential solar as the key to stabilizing the energy grid. As Co-founder and CEO of SolarCity, Rive works towards making clean energy available to homeowners, schools, and government organizations at a lower cost than they pay for energy generated by burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas. He has grown the company from two to more than six thousand employees and helped it become one of the most recognizable brands in clean energy in seven years. He has also helped the company forge many fruitful partnerships with major organizations like eBay, Intel, Walmart and the U.S. Military.

A lifelong entrepreneur, Lyndon founded his first company at the age of 17, and in his spare time has been a member of the U.S. National Underwater Hockey Team.
