As the Director of Communications for Clif Bar & Company, Keely Wachs is responsible for leading the energy and nutrition bar company’s global issues, reputation and public affairs efforts. He brings with him more than a decade leading communications for some of the world’s most recognized sustainable brands. Before joining Clif Bar & Company, Keely represented renewable energy, climate change, and clean air transportation practices at companies from BrightSource Energy to Pacific Gas & Electric. He even co-founded and oversaw Blanc & Otus Public Relations’ Cleantech practice and managed public diplomacy programs for the U.S. Department of State.

Wachs holds a Masters in International Affairs from the University of California, San Diego with a focus on environmental and economic policy, and a BA in Latin American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
