As TransForm’s Acting Executive Director, Jeff Hobson promotes walkable communities to help solve our climate crisis. TransForm's campaigns have helped raise over $8 billion for sustainable and socially-just transportation which has led to ground-breaking policies linking transportation and land use planning. During his time with the organization, Hobson helped launch many of TransForm’s pioneering programs, led campaigns for transportation solutions for low-income residents, and authored nine TransForm reports.
Before joining TransForm in 1998, Jeff worked on environmental justice and energy efficiency in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. He holds a master's degree from the Energy and Resources Group at UC Berkeley and a bachelor's in physics from Harvard University.
