Frederic Rich argues that progress on environmental issues is within reach. As the author of Getting to Green, Rich makes clear the importance of environmentalists and conservatives working together in the space where their values overlap. A lawyer by trade, he has represented sponsors, investors and lenders in relation to major projects, including some of the landmark, oil and gas, infrastructure and metals and mining transactions in the past 30 years. This experience led him to be recognized as “the preeminent project finance lawyer in the world” in Chambers USA in 2010 and “Dealmaker of the Year” by The American Lawyer in 2011.
Rich is Chairman of Scenic Hudson Land Trust, Inc. and the Foundation for Landscape Studies, Vice Chairman of the National Land Trust Alliance, and a director of The Battery Conservancy, Inc. as well as other non-profit organizations.
