Erin Cooke

Sustainability Director, San Francisco International Airport

As the San Francisco International Airport's Sustainability Director, Erin Cooke and her team cultivate partnerships across all airport stakeholders to develop scalable programmatic, technology and policy solutions that enhance the well-being of the entire campus community, maximize returns to the natural environment and operating budget, and reinforce sustainability as a core airport priority. Serving under the Chief of Administration and Policy, Cooke leads the Sustainability Office’s work to translate the Airport’s Five-Year Strategic Plan into action by offering essential resources. Prior to her current role, Cooke served the City of Cupertino as its Sustainability Manager and Assistant to the City Manager, and supported diverse sustainability-focused initiatives through her employment with the Conservation Law Foundation, Goddard Institute of Space Studies, National Park Service, New York Department of Environmental Conservation, The Nature Conservancy and The Canyon’s Ski Resort.

Cooke earned a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University and holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
