As the CEO and co-founder of The Climate Corporation, David Friedberg aims to help farmers around the world protect and improve their productivity. The company’s unique technology platform includes hardware, software, and related services that help farmers make better decisions, execute those decisions, and insure against risks not in their control. Prior to founding The Climate Corporation, Friedberg was with Google where he held several roles in Corporate Development and Product Management. Prior to that, Friedberg spent several years in investment banking at Jefferies Broadview, investing in technology companies at a small private equity firm, and was a mathematical programmer for the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Friedberg is also the Chairman of Metromile, providing the only pay-per-mile auto insurance product in the United States. He earned a degree in astrophysics from UC Berkeley.
