Danielle Fidler is a senior attorney in Earthjustice’s Clean Energy Program, which works to speed a just and equitable transition to 100% clean energy through advocacy and litigation. She represents coalition and community partners on energy matters before state and federal regulators, regional transmission operators, and federal appellate courts on issues pertaining to wholesale capacity markets and transmission.
Prior to coming to Earthjustice, Fidler spent over 20 years practicing environmental law, primarily handling complex, multi-statute enforcement cases at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. She was also a member of the Department of Justice’s trial team for the BP oil spill litigation and served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York, where she litigated matters involving vehicle emissions and the 2020 census.
