Craig Miller

Science Editor, KQED

The performance case for electric vehicles has pretty much been made. Right now, it comes down to a matter of cost. They still do cost more; that will change.

Craig Miller has seen the fear of fracking increase. As KQED's Science Editor, Miller specializes in weather, climate, water and energy issues, with a little seismology thrown in just to shake things up. Prior to his current position, he launched and led the station's award-winning multimedia project, Climate Watch. He brings 25 years of diverse experience to his current role, from producing and directing Emmy Award-winning documentaries to his reporting for CNN.

As a correspondent for California Connected and The California Report, Miller has reported extensively on environmental and resource issues facing California and the American West.
