Christy Clark has a relentless focus on strengthening the economy and ensuring that government controls spending. As British Columbia’s Premier, Clark will continue to work to ensure they seize the natural gas opportunity before them, fight for economic development opportunities throughout the province, and make sure British Columbians are first in line for the jobs that will come. In this position she draws upon her previous experience as Deputy Premier, Minister of Education, Minister of Children and Family Development and vice-chair of Treasury Board.

Clark has received several awards, including the YWCA Woman of Distinction Award and the 2009 Woman of the Year in BC by the Consumer Choice Awards.
