Anthony Earley, Jr.

Chairman, CEO, and President, PG&E Corporation

As Chief Executive Officer of PG&E, Anthony Earley Jr. has spearheaded major initiatives related to safety culture, operational excellence, and workforce development. He also continues to grow its environmentally friendly generation portfolio, with more than 50 percent of its assets having no carbon emissions. Earley brings with him over 17 years of experience working as an executive at DTE Energy. Simultaneously he served as chairman of the Edison Electric Institute, the trade association of investor utilities, and was directly involved in the development of national policies on energy, the environment, and climate change issues. 

Earley earned a bachelor of science degree in physics, a master of science degree in engineering, and a law degree at the University of Notre Dame, where he serves on the advisory council of the College of Engineering.
