Anna Lappé is the Executive Director of the Global Alliance for the Future of Food, a strategic alliance of philanthropic foundations working to transform global food systems for greater equity, sustainability, and health. A recipient of the James Beard Leadership Award, Lappé is also a national bestselling author, including co-authoring or authoring three books and contributing z to nearly two dozen others. Lappé's work has been translated internationally and featured in The Washington Post, The New York Times, Gourmet, Oprah Magazine, among many other outlets.
A frequent public speaker, her popular TEDx talks and myth-busting videos have been watched nearly two million times. Lappé's most recent book, Diet for a Hot Planet: The Climate Crisis at the End of Your Fork and What You Can Do About It, was named by Booklist and Kirkus as one of the best environmental books of the year.
