Adrienne Heinz

Clinical Research Psychologist, Stanford University School of Medicine

Adrienne Heinz, Ph.D. is a clinical research psychologist at the National Center for PTSD and Stanford University. Dr. Heinz's family and community in Healdsburg, California have been repeatedly impacted by mega-fires. Her work in the intersections of climate change, disaster, technology and mental health focuses on creating services and digital resources for individuals and communities with posttraumatic stress and related struggles. 

Dr. Heinz's program of research on trauma and resilience has now helped inform long-term recovery efforts in several other disaster-affected communities. She is currently a National Science Foundation GeoCafe Climate and Health Scholar collaborating with geoscientists to develop innovative solutions to address the impact of climate change on health.
