Climate One will be celebrating SF Climate Week with a series of programs featuring California's leading voices in state and local policy, climate justice, arts and culture. The week will feature interviews, Q&As and performances that acknowledge today’s challenging political reality, while showcasing what’s doable and sparks joy in the climate community.

Every year, the Goldman Environmental Prize is awarded to six grassroots environmental heroes from around the world at a grand ceremony at the San Francisco Opera House. As part of this year's SF Climate Week, Climate One is honored to host two of the winners the following day in an intimate conversation at the Commonwealth Club, where you’ll have a chance to meet them in person. The names of the winners are not yet public, but we can assure you that every Goldman Prize winner we’ve featured in the past (Nalleli Cobo, Marjan Minnesma, Alfred Brownell, Diane Wilson, etc.) brings a deeply heroic story of protecting their community against powerful interests.

Following the program, we invite you to join us in the lobby to enjoy some refreshments, mingle with fellow climate enthusiasts, and meet the Goldman Prize winners.
