Lauren Hennessy believes that sustainability should be a core value in everything we do. As the Outreach Program Manager at the Sustainability and Energy Office at Stanford, Hennessy supports building connections between campus departments to focus on sustainability-specific initiatives. She began her career in sustainability overseeing communications and outreach for the Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Energy sponsored programs Laboratories for the 21st Century and WaterSense, as well as for the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories.

Hennessy received her B.A. in Communications from the University of Maryland, College Park.
