Conservation Program Manager, Sierra Club San Francisco Bay Chapter

Jess Dervin-Ackerman thinks that we shouldn’t be investing billions of dollars in new infrastructure that’s not safe, or that will cause harm and contribute to climate disruption. As the Conservation Organizer for the San Francisco Chapter of the Sierra Club, Dervin-Ackerman regularly conducts workshops and speaks out about such issues. She continues to be a dynamic activist who deals with the crude oil trains as well as other energy issues.

Dervin-Ackerman graduated from Northeastern in 2010.
