E. Julian Potter

Chief of Staff, San Francisco International Airport

E. Julian Potter is passionate about transportation as an environmental and social issue. As Chief Administration and Policy Officer at San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Potter oversees the airport sustainability policy as well as government affairs. She moved into her current role after SFO recognized that sustainability was a vital emerging trend and they needed a position to cover sustainability policy across the entire organization. Potter's "aha" moment came when she realized that it's always more affordable to reuse, recycle and plug in.

Potter earned her MA in Public Policy from the New School for Social Research in New York. She previously acted as Deputy Chief of Staff to Mayor Gavin Newsom.
