Angus Gillespie

Vice President for CO2, Shell Oil Company

Angus Gillespie believes that stable carbon pricing is an essential step to tackle the rising level of CO2 in the atmosphere. Prior to switching to becoming the Vice President of CO2, Gillespie worked in a variety of commercial roles in Shell’s upstream businesses and in the Exploration & Production business. Before joining Shell in 1999, Gillespie worked in strategy development roles in several companies and industries including insurance, transport and economic consultancy, as well as the UK gas and power industry.

Gillespie has a bachelors degree in Economics and holds an MBA with distinction.
