Nicholas Stern Receives 2013 Stephen Schneider Award for Outstanding Climate Science Communication

Lord Nicholas Stern, a professor at the London School of Economics and former World Bank Chief Economist, was presented with the $10,000 Climate One award for 2013. Few people have impacted the discussion of carbon pollution economics more than Stern, who authored the highly influential 2006 “Stern Review." He has more recently emphasized opportunities in the transition to a low-carbon economy and now leads a think tank at Imperial College London created by Jeremy Grantham, co-founder of one of the largest money managers in the world, GMO.
